Ok, this is a superb frame, the frame is expertly carved and gilded in bright gold leaf that's genuine gold. The frame is substantially wider than a typical bergere chair and the finish has its beautiful finish and signs of age including chips, patina and signs of age and use that prove age and yet allow the chair to appear even beautiful. The chair is in older if not it's an original upholstery and will show thread-born areas and significant sigs of wear and use from age. However, it is perfect for the right person if you understand what old-mobey looks like and want that authentic look. Measures 40.25 tall x 44 wide x 43 deep and a seat height of 20 tall. The chairs dates to the 1860-70s era.
