This is one of the most graceful and beautiful French sofas or settees we've had in decades. The gold leaf finish sit atop an expertly carved French Louis XVI frame and the silk upholstery is beautifully designed with profiles of griffons and garlands. The sofa is in good antique condition with minor signs of age and wear but nothing significant. The upholstery is used so it may have stains or minor issues but presents crisply and fresh. Measures 33.5 tall x 94.5 wide x 39.25 deep and a seat height of 17. The sofa is from the 1860-80s era.
