This is a very very unique and rare custom-made English piece. The piece is made of antique elements with all of the charm that antiques have and re-designed to act as an enormous bookcase or entertainment center in the modern age. The piece comes apart into 6 sections and is shown on an unlevel surface and not screwed together so some minor gaps will show at the top where the cornices fit. These can be tightened when installed. The center doors are retractable within the cabinet top. The character of the old painted surface, the surface painted to look like tiger oak, but is actually pine, is just gorgeous and warm. The interior and its contrasting ebony and cream colors are just wonderful and add such interest and charm. The piece does have an unusual cut-out on the right hand bottom where they must have cleared some encumbrance, but we can and will seamlessly repair that for you. You won't see it, but we will professionally take care of that. The piece dimenions are overall but the interior shelves are 17 inches inside and 21 inches in the center section. The middle of the body is 156 wide and the top is 166 wide at the crown. The overall depth is 31 inches. This is a wonderful piece and can be turned into anything you want! It is wired and lighted though not tested.
