This is a rare sized, spectacular marble top, cripsly chaste bronze mounted commode by the well-known French and London firm of Kahn and Cie (Kahn and company) The piece features superbly painted chinese scenes and figures with raise lacquer and gorgeous red and gold lacquers and gilded figures in gold. The marble top is absolutely breathtaking and a breccia marble so it has numerous colors and inclusions for added interest. Measures 16,25 deep x 35 tall x 34.25 wide. Dates to the 1880-90s era and is labled France.
