This is a rare find indeed. The piece shown here is a much higher form of Italian-made commode than most we see or have and has the hottest styling of those days in Europe- French Directoire. The commode is covered in gorgeous flame walnut veneer over an oak case with superb inlay of satinwood and gorgeous brass figural hardware and keyplates. Measures 48.5 wide x 36.5 tall x 23 deep. Dates to the 1850s era,
