Extremely Rare Pair Full Body carved Griffin Leather Top End Tables Circa 1890s
This is an absolutely stunning pair of expertly carved Chinese red paint decorated griffin end tables in the manner of either Luigi Frullini or R.J. Horner and could have been made by either one. The carving is of the highest quality and certainly could be one of those two makers. The tables feature antique leather tops in circular form with embossed gold tooled perimeters and is absolutely time-worn and will show signs of age and stains from use. The tables are from the 1890s era and could be American or Italian made. They measure 30.75 tall x 19.75 wide x 26 inches deep.
