This is a charming Maison Jansen style paint decorated commode with both butterflies painted on the case and butterfly bronze hardware as well. The top was painted in a faux marble finish and is stunning. The case is certainly one-of-a-kind and you won't see another one like this. Everything is hand-painted and not stickers or decoupage. The commode is in good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use but nothing significant. Dates to the 1940s era.
