This is a stunning desk that was perhaps made by John Vesey, but we can't say with any degree of certainty. The elements are there, the steel and brass used to create the more average wooden attributes of French Directoire design. The antique-aged mirrored top instead of the leather or wood usually seen. The incredible machines brass and steel elements add to the mystique of this desk. I have never seen one quite like it and doubt you will as well. The desk measures 57 wide x 30 deep x 31 tall and is in good condition.

Wear consistent with age and use. aged glass with spotting is intentional and completes the look. The frame and painted finish is very good.
